Engine Re-assembly
10/1-I got the heads on over the weekend but I still need to set the valve lash. I painted the engine with por-15 Chevy Orange Engine enamel and I used spray paint to do the final, smooth coat. I still have some spots that need to be touched up but overall, it looks really nice.
This is a pic of my newly painted engine. I have some old valve chrome covers on to keep the dust out but I have a nice, aluminum set of corvette covers.
This is what the front looks like, just like the side.
Here is my Holley Street Dominator intake. Its temporarily installed.
After a couple days of work, I got pretty much everything installed on the engine except the balancer and crank pulley. Its almost time.......
